Experience Winkworth Arboretum
With the entrance just a short 3-4 minute walk from Firesyde, this gem, home to ancient
trees and stewarded by the National Trust is beloved our guests. Take a picnic with you to have by the lakeside.

Famous for some of the most dramatic hikes in the South West, we have mapped some
of the most stunning hikes through these ancient hills. Accessible on foot directly from the site.

Our menu is inspired by nature’s seasonal rhythms and the beautiful constraints of cooking on an open fire. We aim to be wholesome, natural and locally sourced with a few treats to ensure you can relax and enjoy being by the firesyde.
