Curated over 30 years and part of the National Garden Scheme, the Wild Gardens contain a series of mini trails through diverse plant life for you to wander.

Campfire Dining
Enjoy locally sourced, nature inspired and Campfire meals awaiting your arrival in your cabin, and take the hassle out of shopping en-route.

Wild Wellbeing
Practice yoga out on the front deck as the sun rises, enjoy a nature massage, forest bath, forage plants and brew tea or relax under and ancient oak tree with a book for the afternoon. This is the essence of wild wellbeing,

Wild Mini Spa for Two
Experience the soon to be opening Wild Mini Spa designed for two. Enjoy a mini-sauna and ice plunge with views of the Wild Gardens. (Opens April 2025)

National Trust Winkworth Arboretum
With the entrance just a short 3-4 minute walk from Firesyde, this gem, home to ancient trees and stewarded by the National Trust is beloved our guests. Take a picnic with you to have by the lakeside.

Famous Walking Trails
From the private Woodland Gardens, to the Arboretum to the Greensand Way, the area is famous for some of the most dramatic hikes in the South West, we have mapped our favourites for you in our Field Guide. Accessible on foot directly from the site.

Quality Local Dining
Eat out at the nearby Merry Harriers in Hambldeon, run by up and coming chef Sam Fiddian-Green, recently in the Top 50 British Pubs, or the quaint White Horse in Hascombe. Or the most exceptional local gem, the Hilltop Kitchen - a farm-to-table, rustic restaurant accessible by foot with stunning views of the surrounding valleys.

Foraging and Lakeside Picnics
With our seasonal foraging guides, we highly recommend sourcing local fruits, berries and chestnuts depending on your time of year and adding them to your fireside meals or cocktails. The Campfire Menu
Our menu is nature-inspired and designed for cooking on an open fire. We aim to source locally and forage for our ingredients. Pre-prepared by Niamh in the Camp Kitchen, take the hassle out of shopping en route and enjoy a campfire breakfast, picnic-style lunch or dinner beautifully packaged and awaiting your arrival in your cabin.
Cooking with a loved one under a moonlit sky, with only the sound of a crackling fire is a special experience.
Your Wild Lodge comes equipped with all of the BBQ cookware you need to cook a campfire feast as well as a picnic rucksack for wild picnics.
